ALBION STREET GLASGOW

TELEPHONE BELL I 3 O O

Dear Mr. Cardini,

I should just like to express my very grateful thanks and appreciation of your giving an act at our Charity Ball in St. Andrews Halls on Wednesday night.

It was most generous of you to give the performance at so late an hour, and I can assure you that it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone there.

I must apologise for having kept you and your wife waiting so long Before going on the stage, but it is very difficult to stage-manage these snows on a one-night performance so that everyone is suited.

Perhaps you will drop me a line if you are ever back in Glasgow, when I hope to repay you in some way for your kindness.

GENERAL MANAGER.

Yours sincerely,

GENERAL MANAGER

Mr. Cardini,

Empire Theatre,

GLASGOW.
